Title: Operations Specialist - Request 100% on-site work
Location: Farmers Branch, TX USA
Job Description
We’re searching for a driven individual who can help us streamline daily operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to budget across all departments. The operations specialist should be comfortable communicating with people throughout the organization, able to solve problems and improvise as needed, and adept at estimating and managing time for a variety of tasks. The ideal candidate is a natural coordinator who has a strong sense of big-picture objectives and a sharp eye for detail. A highly motivated, focused, and positive attitude is essential to this role as working within this industry can often be demanding and challenging, with priorities sometimes shifting at a moment’s notice.
- Assist the operations manager in developing, planning, and coordinating operational activities.
- Maintain communication with customer services and the purchasing department in creating sales orders and purchase orders.
- Oversee inventory management practices and improve them when necessary.
- Assisting with the implementation of new processes and procedures.
- Interacting with customers and suppliers, answering questions, and resolving issues.
- Prepare reports, statistical analysis, and data tracking.
Requirements
Background and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field
· Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a professional office, including at l** one year of experience in one of the following areas: project coordination, data analysis, procurement, finance, supply chain management
· Must be comfortable in a supporting role, taking direction from and working closely with a supervisor on a regular basis.
Skills
· Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and high level of proficiency with Excel: comfortable with Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP and complex formula creation
· Exceptional communication skills both written and oral, strong grammar, with experience in content editing and preparing formal reports.
· Experience managing a daily workload with several overlapping deadlines and a variety of tasks.
· Ability to adapt to changing priorities and tight deadlines and take ownership and accountability for issue resolution.
· Quick thinking and problem-solving within realm of delegated responsibilities, with ability to weigh priorities for best possible outcome.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000 - $55,000
