Job Duties:
· Arrange transportation and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand
· Prepare related paperwork for shipments, and take steps to avoid quality control issues
· Make sure warehouse capacity is kept at optimal levels
· Conduct inventory-related projects on a regular basis to help maintain the accuracy of the inventory records
· Manage activities throughout the order fulfillment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met
· Continually review freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of raw materials to keep costs down where possible
· Streamline shipping and transportation processes
· Communicate with customers for all shipping-related questions
